Buchholz jumped out early and took a 21-0 lead 5:30 into the second quarter and after that it was an uphill battle for the Raiders. Navarre would cut it to 14 on a 54-yard pass from Zach Marquis to Jebari Mitchell; but Creed Whittemore would find Quan Lee for the third time in the first with 26 seconds remaining to go to the half up 28-7.

Buchholz would stretch that lead out to 28 when Whittemore found Quan Lee for the fourth time in the game just four minutes into the second half. The Raiders would find the end zone two more times as Marquis scampered in from 68 yards out in the third and Jason Deal connected on a 21-yard pass to Trent Hall. Box Score
Crestview…14 0 0 0 – 14
Navarre…..21 24 7 0 – 52

The Raiders (6-4, 3-3) needed to win this contest to have any hope of making the playoffs. Unfortunately, the win was not enough as Navarre fell percentage points behind the Bulldogs.

Crestview got on the scoreboard first with a 2-yard Taylor Scarborough run with just over six minutes to go in the first. The Raiders would strike right back as Marlon Courtney III would connect on a 40-yard pass to Tyler England. Navarre would grab their first lead of the night when A.J. Arno broke off a 47-yard run for a score with a little over two minutes to go. Crestview didn’t take much time off the clock to tie it back up on a Scarborough 25-yard touchdown run within a minute. The wild first quarter would come to end when Courtney found Arno on a 49-yard pass…Navarre 21-14 after one.

The second quarter was all Raiders as they ran off 24 straight points. Xayvion Thomas hauled in a 18-yard pass from Courtney with 10 minutes to go. Then, Preston Penton added a 25-yard field goal. Courtney followed with two more touchdown passes to England (32, 17) to close out the scoring in the first half…45-14 Navarre.

The Raiders added their final touchdown in the third as Courtney hit England with a 30-yard pass with seven minutes. A running clock ensued and the Navarre defense took care of the rest…Final 52-14.

It was a record breaking night for two Raiders, as Courtney set a new touchdown passing mark with six. Which was incredible because he only completed nine passes in the game. He finished the night, 9-13 for 221 yards. England broke the touchdown receptions mark in a game with four. He hauled in five receptions in the game for 129 yards and also had three interceptions on defense (which tied a record).

Jeffery Mattox led the Navarre defense with 10 tackles (6 solo/4 assists/sack/TFL) and Mekhi Domino added 7 tackles (5 solo/2 assists). The Raiders forced five turnovers on the night (4 interceptions/fumble) and shutout the Bulldogs the last three quarters.
