4 games ago – Navarre 23, Pace 21 (2022)

Pace…7 7 0 7 – 21
Navarre…7 9 7 0 – 23

With the win the Raiders (7-1, 3-0) set up a match-up against Gulf Breeze next week for all the marbles in District 4S-1. Connor Mathews got the nod over the injured Eddie Love Jr at running back and what a performance it was as he rushed for 198 yards on 22 carries. Anthony Gassaway added 72 yards on 18 carries and Navarre’s only rushing touchdown on the night.

Hunter Pfeister found Jadon Reese on both of his TD passes and Terence Marshall contributed six receptions for 44 yards. Connor Black led the defense with 11 tackles and an interception while Andre Spence added eight tackles. Taylor Gardner connected on 37-yard field goal in the win.

4th win in program history – Navarre 34, Sneads 27 (1998)

This was the only time that these two teams have met on the gridiron. The Raiders finished their first varsity season in school history at 4-5. This would be Kenny Hughes only season at the helm.
