On a night when the Raiders ground attack was pretty much nonexistent, they only trailed at the half, 20-9. So, Navarre headed to the locker room and knew it was time to change up the game plan.
 
As for the War Eagles, future Florida Gator QB Feleipe Franks finished the night, 13-26 passing for 266 yards & four TDs. His favorite target was future FSU WR, Keith Gavin (5 rec, 127 yards, 2 TDs). Wakulla also managed to rush for 219 yards.
 
Navarre went to air for a school record 472 yards from three different individuals; Matthew Webb (24-46, 378 yards, 4 TDs), Octavien Moyer (1-1, 80 yards, TD) & Caine Adamson (1-1, 10 yards, TD). They fought and clawed their way back and tied the game at 35, sending it to overtime.
 
The Raiders scored in the first overtime and converted the extra point. The War Eagles scored as well, but instead of going for the tie, the War Eagles coaching staff decided to go for two and the win. Franks called his own number, but the Raiders defense stuffed him just short of the goal line for the win.
 
Thomas Leggett led the Raiders defense with 10 tackles and an interception on the night. Levonte Geisser had a pick as well.

This was the first game since the 2001 season that they faced off against an opponent outside the State of Florida.
 
Navarre had a chance to win or tie the game on their final drive late in the fourth quarter, but unfortunately they came up short deep in Davidson territory.

Prior to the game, the Raiders retired Ian Lockwood’s #10 – the only number to be retired in Navarre history.
 
With the hopes of a District title on the line, the Raiders were about to accomplish something that had never been done before in school history…back to back District titles. Early on in the second quarter, those dreams were slowly fading as they fell behind 28-7.
 
Matthew Webb would find Gatlin Casey from 8-yards out to cut the lead to 28-14 going to the intermission. The lead was then cut to seven when Webb found John Graczyk on a 30-yard strike on 4th and 8. While still in the third quarter, Webb knotted the game up at 28 with a 34-yard scamper.
 
The Raiders defense did their part as they held the Indians scoreless over the last two and a half quarters of the game. Webb would then lead the offense on a 89-yard fourth quarter drive, culminating with a 5-yard run by Casey to give Navarre their second straight District title.
