Wewa Gators run for 707 yards in win over Liberty County

The Wewahitchka Gators (5-1) accomplished something last night that you don’t see very often in their 61-35 win over Liberty County.
 
They had two players rush for over 300 yards in the same game. Junior QB Alex Williams went for 345 yards on 20 carries and 7 touchdowns and Freshman RB Zay McDaniel went for 319 yards on 23 carries and a TD, as well as a 67-yard kickoff return for another touchdown.
