The Raiders (3-0) came out flat in the first half and the Bulldogs took advantage of it and went to the half up 28-0. Jay Stanton got the scoring started with a 68-yard TD run and the Voisin brothers had back to back 69-yard TD receptions to end the first quarter scoring. Marquis McCoy would add a 29-yard TD reception in the second quarter.

Navarre finally got on the board on a 3-yard run by Dante Wright at the 8:24 mark of the third quarter, but the Raiders still trailed 28-7 going to the fourth. At 9:59, Wright scored his second from 10 yards out and two minutes later, Josh Carter would score from 8 yards out to cut the lead to 28-20. Navarre got the ball back and Carter tallied his second rushing TD of the game and with a successful two-point conversion, the game was tied at 28. The Raiders were not finished as Wright gave them the lead on a 11-yard run with 2:07 on the clock.

That was enough time for Crestview to drive down the field and tie the game up with 33 seconds left on 3-yard run by Stanton sending the game to overtime. Bulldogs went on offense to start the overtime period, but the possession was short lived as Carter stepped in front of a Jack Corbin pass and now all the Raiders needed was any type of score to pull off the comeback win. Wright would score his fourth rushing TD of the night from nine yards out to send the Navarre faithful home in jubilation.

Marlon Courtney III finished the night 15-29 for 186 yards and Quinn Caballero hauled in two receptions for 96 yards. Wright had six receptions for 78 yards.

Jack Corbin led the Bulldogs offense as he went 14-27 for 256 yards and three TDs. Jaden Voisin with five receptions for 108 yards and a score and Jay Stanton added 128 yards rushing on 23 carries and two TDs.

Box Score
Niceville….14 3 21 9 – 47

The Raiders (9-1) faced off with the Eagles for the second consecutive week, which turned out to be an old fashioned shootout. Both quarterbacks had huge nights in the contest; Sage Chambers for Navarre and Jack White for Niceville. But it was the Raiders defense that stepped up big in the waning moments to stop the Eagles two-point conversion that would have tied up the game and sent it to overtime.

Chambers finished the night with the second most passing yards in a game in Navarre history as he went 19-24, for 380 yards and four touchdowns. Dante Wright hauled in four receptions for 144 yards and three touchdowns and Quinn Caballero had seven receptions for 107 yards. Garren Harper contributed a 55-yard touchdown reception.

Additionally, the Raiders received help from the ground game as Omari Green had 18 carries for 96 yards and 52 yards on seven carries for Chris Williams. Josh Carter, Wright and Chambers all had a rushing touchdown.

Eagles rushed for 350 yards in the game. Ryan Romair added six receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown.

Navarre……21 6 0 0 – 27

Win #6 was looking very promising for the Raiders (5-1, 1-0) after they jumped out to a 21-0 lead after one and 27-6 at the half. But the Gators got the offense moving in the second half and ran off 29 straight points for the come from behind victory.

Sage Chambers went 10-20 for 146 yards and a touchdown, but that was about all the Raiders offense could muster on this night as they only rushed for only 59 yards on 26 carries. Dante Wright hauled in four receptions for 96 yards and a score and Omari Green had the lone rushing touchdown.

Navarre’s defense was led by Josh Carter, who had a 46-yard interception return for a score and 20 tackles (13 solo/7 assists); Bryson Brewer added 12 (7 solo/5 assists) and Wright contributed 10 (9 solo/assist/TFL) and a 99-yard interception return. The Raiders finished the evening with nine tackles for loss and two and a half sacks. Kevin Taich was 3-4 on extra points.
