Defensive Player
Sneads’ Aven Tyus totaled 18 tackles and a sack as the Pirates finished the regular season unbeaten with a 72-42 win over Freeport.

Pace’s Reice Griffith made all six of his extra points and all seven of his kickoffs reached the end zone in a 48-0 win over Hollis Christian Academy.

Walls registers 200th win

With the win on Friday night, Navarre’s Coach Jay Walls registered his 200th win (200-97); he is currently 95-27 at Navarre in his 11th season.
 
Walls graduated graduated from Rutherford HS in Panama City, Florida in 1981.  Then went on to Valdosta State, where he was a three year starter as a defensive tackle. He spent two years at Valdosta State as a graduate assistant.
 
He then moved to Crestview HS as an assistant for eight years (the last 5 as the defensive coordinator). From there he would get his first head coaching job at Suwannee (FL).
 
Walls reached his 100th career win while coaching at Tift County, Georgia. He was 44-34 for the Blue Devils. Only Gene Brodie has more wins.
