Buchholz jumped out early and took a 21-0 lead 5:30 into the second quarter and after that it was an uphill battle for the Raiders. Navarre would cut it to 14 on a 54-yard pass from Zach Marquis to Jebari Mitchell; but Creed Whittemore would find Quan Lee for the third time in the first with 26 seconds remaining to go to the half up 28-7.

Buchholz would stretch that lead out to 28 when Whittemore found Quan Lee for the fourth time in the game just four minutes into the second half. The Raiders would find the end zone two more times as Marquis scampered in from 68 yards out in the third and Jason Deal connected on a 21-yard pass to Trent Hall. But, that was as close as Navarre would get…Buchholz with the win, 35-21.

The Raiders would end the 2020 campaign at 6-1, giving Coach Jay Walls his eighth trip to the Playoffs in nine seasons and running his overall record at Navarre to 82-22.

Box Score
Enterprise…7 7 0 14 – 28
Navarre….7 14 6 15 – 42

The Raiders welcomed another Alabama foe to Bennett C. Russell Stadium and took home the victory to improve to 5-0 on the season and 7-3 all-time against teams from Alabama.

The Wildcats scored on a 22-yard pass from Quentin Hayes to Joshua McCray at 8:44 in the first to get the scoring going. Navarre would then answer back on their next possession as Jason Deal punched it in from the one at the 5:39 mark…7-7 after one.

The Raiders would run off 14 straight points to start the second as Zach Marquis found AJ Arno on a 61-yard pass and Jaden Rivera scored on a 6-yard run. Enterprise would get on the board just before halftime as the Hayes to McCray connection worked for a second time on the night to cut the lead to 7…Navarre up 21-14.

Navarre’s Jaden Rivera would score the only touchdown of the third (a 18-yard run) to give the Raiders a 27-14 lead heading to the fourth.

But, the Wildcats scored at 10:53 of the fourth as Hayes tossed his third touchdown pass of the night, this one to Jared Smith from 71-yards out to cut the lead to six. That would be as close as they would get as the Raiders would tally the next 15 points; a 3-yard run by Bailey Huston and a 11-yard run by Zach Marquis to stretch the lead to 21. Hayes would throw his fourth touchdown of the night; a 46-yard toss to Smith at 1:18 to close out the scoring.

Navarre’s Zach Marquis went 7-12 for 106 yards and a touchdown and Jaden Rivera rushed for 151 yards on 26 carries and two scores. AJ Arno hauled in five receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown.
