Raiders (1-2) register their first win of the season at home against the Patriots. Pace controlled the clock for the majority of the game behind a running attack that produced 53 carries for 312 yards and three touchdowns; mainly from Quaide Weimerskirch (32 carries, 232 yards, 3 TDs). But despite this, Navarre was able to pull out the victory behind the passing of QB Matthew Webb and the running of Freshman RB Michael Carter.

Navarre would get a little closer in the third and cut the lead to 41-19; but would not get any closer as Gainesville would pull away in the fourth quarter, ending the Raiders 11 game winning streak.

The Raiders (12-1, 5-0) got off to a really quick start in the Class 6A Region 1 Final against the Tigers and future NFL star lineman, Laremy Tunsil. Nick Benton returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a score and Navarre would add another touchdown to take a 14-0 lead after one. The lead would jump to 21-0 in the second before Columbia would put 14 points on the board before halftime to cut the game to 21-14.

The Tigers tied it up in the third at 21-21, so the game would be decided in the fourth quarter. The Raiders went on to score the only points of the fourth for their first ever Region Title in school history and ran their winning streak to 11 straight games.
