Buchholz jumped out early and took a 21-0 lead 5:30 into the second quarter and after that it was an uphill battle for the Raiders. Navarre would cut it to 14 on a 54-yard pass from Zach Marquis to Jebari Mitchell; but Creed Whittemore would find Quan Lee for the third time in the first with 26 seconds remaining to go to the half up 28-7.
Buchholz would stretch that lead out to 28 when Whittemore found Quan Lee for the fourth time in the game just four minutes into the second half. The Raiders would find the end zone two more times as Marquis scampered in from 68 yards out in the third and Jason Deal connected on a 21-yard pass to Trent Hall. But, that was as close as Navarre would get…Buchholz with the win, 35-21.
The Raiders would end the 2020 campaign at 6-1, giving Coach Jay Walls his eighth trip to the Playoffs in nine seasons and running his overall record at Navarre to 82-22.
