Coach Walls registered his 79th win in his 100th game at Navarre.
The Raiders scored early in the first when Jason Deal hit Jebari Mitchell on a 24-yard pass just 45 seconds into the game. But, the Indians would answer right back on a 2-yard run by Kybert McGlothin. Navarre wouldn’t take long to score again as their second drive only took 1:47 when Zach Marquis found Trent Hall from 20 yards out…Raiders up 14-7 after one.
It would be all Raiders in the second quarter; a 14-yard pass from Marquis to Jaden Rivera got the scoring started., followed by a safety, Marquis’ third TD pass of the game, second one to Hall and then finished off the scoring with a Rivera 30-yard TD run. Navarre up 36-7 at the half.
Teams alternated touchdowns in the third as the Indians scored on a 6-yard run by Dorian Smith and the Raiders with a 2-yard run by Isaiah Miller. Much the same in the fourth, as TJ Peltier scored from the one (starting a running clock) and then Choctaw would put the final points on the board…Navarre 50, Choctaw 21.
