The Raiders (6-0, 1-0) found themselves in a defensive battle with the Gators. After giving up two early touchdowns and falling behind 13-3 at the end of the first quarter, the Navarre defense would shut out Escambia the rest of the way for the road win to stay unbeaten.
Caine Adamson went 15-24 for 184 yards with two picks and one rushing TD, while Michael Carter rushed for 118 yards on 28 carries and a score to lead the offense. Dante Wright added three receptions for 75 yards and Sam Register had four receptions for 53 yards.
Bo Hering had 14 tackles (8 solo/6 assists), Caleb Dale had 11 (3 solo/8 assists) and Xavier Fernandez had 10 (7 solo/3 assists/sack) to lead a valiant effort by the Raider defense. Wright went 2-2 on extra points and had a career long 41 yard field goal.
