The Raiders (9-2, 1-1) went on the road in the first round of the State Playoffs. The offense struggled in the first half as Navarre fell behind at the half, 17-7. But after halftime adjustments, the offense hit on all cylinders in the third and fourth quarters, outscoring the Gators, 37-13.
Matthew Webb went 18-33 for 183 yards and two touchdowns through the air and also contributed 132 yards on 13 carries and three scores on the ground. Hasaan Williams added 66 yards on five carries and a touchdown. Quentin Randolph had six receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
Escambia was led by Gerold Bright, who went 7-11 for 104 yards and a touchdown and added 122 yards on 21 carries and another score on the ground.
Raider defense had a busy night trying to stop an explosive Gator offense. Xavier Fernandez produced 16 tackles (6 solo/10 assists/2 TFL), Thomas Leggett with 14 (9 solo/5 assists), Anthony Miller with 12 (6 solo/6 assists/TFL) and Bo Hering with 11 (7 solo/4 assists/sack/TFL) led the way. Luke Morton was 4-4 on extra points.
