The Raiders (3-0) offense exploded in the first half against the Patriots defense. They put up 21 in the first quarter and 28 in the second to take a 35 point lead at the half. With that lead, the whole second half would be played with a running clock.
Matthew Webb only completed four passes on the night, but he made them count, two touchdown passes and 106 yards. His TD passes went to Quentin Randolph (2 rec/61 yards/TD) and TJ Woodberry (1 rec/31 yards/TD). Michael Carter produced 112 yards on 4 carries and two TDs and Derrick Smith added 95 yards on 3 carries and a score as the Raiders amassed 13.7 yards per carry in the contest. Luke Morton went 7-7 on extra points and contributed 4 touchbacks in the win.
The defense was led by Anthony “The Unit” Miller and Tommy Leggett for the second straight week. Miller with 12 solo tackles and 3 tackles for loss and Leggett with 6 solo and 6 assisted tackles.
Most of the Pace offense was led by workhorse, Quaide Weimerskirch, who produced 191 yards on 21 carries and all three of the Patriots touchdowns.
