Coming off their best season in 2006, the Raiders were looking to build on that success in 2007. This year would turn out to be Coach Larry Olson’s last season at the helm.
For the first time in school history, Navarre won their first four games of the season and five of their first six to open 5-1. The lone loss was a 6-3 setback to Fort Walton Beach.
The Raiders would split their last four games, with two wins over Crestview and Gulf Breeze and losses to Florida High and Milton to finish the regular season at 7-3.
Navarre went through District play with a 3-1 record, making the State Playoffs for the second straight year. But their season would come to an end at the hands of Pace once again in a 55-13 setback.
Coach Olson turned the Raider program around and finished with a 30-29 record. He brought home Navarre’s first two State Playoff appearances as well as their first two District titles.
