After leading the Raiders to their first Region Title game in 2010, year number four for Coach Lashley would be his last season at the helm of the Raider program.
2011 was an up and down season for Navarre. They started out with a win against Washington (a team they have never lost too), then lost back to back games to Pensacola and Pace. Bounced back with a big win over Niceville as Dwayne Carter rushed for 307 yards (a school record at the time) and six touchdowns (still tied for a school record).
Game five brought a loss to Catholic and game six the Raiders rallied from 23 points down in the fourth quarter to tie Choctaw, only to lose on a late field goal. Navarre rebounded for wins over Crestview and Fort Walton Beach to even their record at 4-4. Then, finished up the season with a loss at Mosley and their fifth straight win in the Publix Beach Bowl Cup against Gulf Breeze.
Raiders went 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the District 2-6A in 2011. Coach Lashley finished with a 22-21 record and Navarre’s first two wins in the State Playoffs.
